My Working Definition of Technology Integration

At this beginning point of my Media and Technology Specialist degree, I believe that integration of technology is a way of using technology to prepare and equip our students for their technology advanced worlds. It is a means to motivate and entrance learners. Technology should be a tool that aides students with the curriculum and promotes learning. Integration of technology is more than just a PowerPoint presentation for the day. It is more than just a once a week activity or time filler. Technology should be a way of life in the classroom for teachers as well as students. Hopefully this technological way of life in the classroom then transfers over into our student’s personal lives.
